RoomSketcher revolutionizes property marketing

RoomSketcher continues to strengthen its position as one of the leading 3D floor plan solutions on the market with their brand new software update. With the update, RoomSketcher moves past the traditional way of marketing and visualizing new homes that relies on expensive CGI and video. Instead RoomSketcher, based on a single-source technological platform, provides an accessible 3D visualization created automatically by the system. Potential home buyers can customize their 2D Floor Plan and then instantly walk around the property in 3D.

RoomSketcher Home Designer is Flash-based, meaning that the vast majority of users won’t have to download any additional software to their desktop. Users create and customize floor plans using the 2D drawing pane, decorating with furniture and materials from a large decoration library. The furnished floor plan can then be viewed instantly using the interactive 3D Viewer (3D Walk) which works both in Flash and through the iPhone and iPad app.

The software update is a result of RoomSketcher’s ambition to always look for new ways of revolutionizing property marketing. The new and improved 3D Walk is designed to quickly generate an interactive and engaging 3D visualization of the property. The solution is tailored for marketing of new property development projects so that potential home buyers can easily visualize the property even though it hasn’t been built yet. Potential home buyers can explore the different features of the property and easily furnish after their own needs and view the results instantly in 3D Walk.

Trine Bretteville, CMSO at RoomSketcher, is very pleased with the software update; “One of our biggest goals in RoomSketcher is to make floor plans as accessible and engaging as possible. Marketing new property can be challenging but with our solution real estate agents and property developers now have a fun and easy way for potential property buyers to virtually walk around their dream home in 3D.”
