Oslo, Norway, April 11, 2014 – On Monday, April 7th Google informed the public about “Heartbleed”, a very serious security vulnerability that was found in OpenSSL. OpenSSL is used to secure around two thirds of all Internet traffic, including sites such as Google, Amazon and many others.
Heartbleed allows attackers to steal information from sites affected, including personal details such as passwords and credit card information without being noticed.
We want to inform you that RoomSketcher was not affected by Heartbleed, we have checked all our configurations and our certificates was not part of the vulnerable versions. Your information remains secure with us.
As Heartbleed is such a serious security vulnerability, we would recommend that you stay informed as this story develops.
