How to Print Floor Plans Video Tutorial

0:00 With the RoomSketcher App, you can easily print and download high-quality 2D and 3D floor plans like these. Think of it as a three-step process.

0:12 First, create a project. Next, generate the floor plan, and then download and print.

0:20 The first step is to create a project. Here’s mine—click here to save it.

0:27 The next step is to generate a high-resolution floor plan. Click the yellow menu, and choose 2D or 3D Floor Plans.

0:38 Professional subscribers can preview the floor plan first. Then click Generate.

0:44 A 2D floor plan takes just a few seconds to generate. A 3D floor plan takes about 15 minutes.

0:56 The final step is to download and print the floor plan. Click Save to Disk.

1:03 On the left, you’ll see Letterhead and Web Image options. Choose Letterhead to print to a specific scale or to include a logo or text.

1:23 Scale options are only available on PC or Mac. Choose Web Image if you want to export the floor plan as a JPG.

1:33 On the right, you’ll find format and paper size options. Sizes range from A2 down to Letter size at 8½ by 11 inches.

1:51 Paper sizes are listed in metric and inches in the Help Center. You can also choose Portrait or Landscape orientation.

2:00 Then click Save to Disk to save it to your computer or tablet. If you’re connected to a printer, you can also print directly.
