The right side shows a scrollable library of door styles available for placement in the design.

Split view of a modern single-story home layout, featuring a 2D floor plan on top and a 3D rendered version below. The home includes an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area that opens to a spacious outdoor patio with lounge seating and a hot tub. Inside, there are three bedrooms, a sauna, two separate toilets, a laundry room, and a central entry hallway. The 3D view showcases contemporary furniture, wood flooring, and a neutral color palette, while the 2D plan highlights room dimensions, storage (W), and fixture placement.

Draw 2D and 3D Floor Plans

In the RoomSketcher app, you draw your floor plan in 2D, adding measurements, room names, and symbols as you go.
Then, with one click, generate a 3D version to see the space from a different view.

It’s a simple way to create accurate floor plans that look great. Whether planning a project, presenting to a client, or listing a property, you'll get professional results every time.

Work On Your Computer Or Tablet

Use the RoomSketcher app on your computer or tablet —
it works the same on both.

Start from scratch, use a room shape, or trace over a blueprint. Your projects are saved in the cloud, so switching between devices is easy.

The app also works offline. So if you lose your connection, your changes will sync once you’re back online.

The image shows a digital floor plan being created using the RoomSketcher app displayed on two devices—a tablet in the foreground and a laptop in the background. Both screens show an early-stage 2D floor plan with empty rooms, thick grey walls, and door placements, indicating the layout has not yet been rendered or furnished. The laptop screen includes the RoomSketcher interface with drawing tools, wall thickness settings, and a video tutorial link. The tablet displays a simplified version of the same plan, highlighting the app’s cross-device functionality and real-time sync between platforms.
A three-part comparison of the same apartment layout. The top section shows a hand-drawn floor plan sketch in blue ink with labeled rooms such as Living Room, Dining, Kitchen, Bath, and Bedroom. The middle section presents a clean black-and-white 2D floor plan with labeled rooms and precise lines. The bottom section displays a fully furnished 3D floor plan with detailed interiors, including furniture, appliances, and flooring, as well as an outdoor terrace with seating. The image illustrates the progression from rough sketch to 2D draft to polished 3D floor plan.
